About Hill
Hill is a former Marine officer from Charlotte, NC. After graduating from Williams College, Hill taught high school history for a year before beginning his military service. As a human intelligence officer in the Marines, he deployed twice to Afghanistan, leading a team of Marines supporting Special Operations Forces and serving as the aide to a Marine Commanding General. After the Marines, Hill attended Harvard Business School graduating with high distinction as a Baker Scholar and then decided to become an entrepreneur. Hill loves smoking all sorts of pork and beef on his Big Green Egg, any type of fishing, and spending as much time as possible with his black Lab, Sally.
About Sam
Sam is a former hedge fund analyst turned nonprofit leader who is from Milwaukee, WI. After graduating from Williams College, Sam worked as investment banker for JP Morgan and as an analyst with Balyasny Asset Management where he focused on oil and gas logistics services. For the last four years, he has led a nonprofit based in Amman, Jordan that empowers refugee women and girls through sport while completing his law and business degrees at Stanford. Sam loves all forms of cheese, downhill skiing, and The Office.

Hill is lucky to have the love and support of Laura and his pup Sally. When Laura isn’t designing golf shoes for FootJoy, she’s busy taking Sally on long hikes, fly fishing wherever Hill takes her, and looking for new recipes to avoid getting stuck on an exclusively Big Green Egg cooked diet.
Savannah is Sam’s better half. She spends her working hours on the enterprise sales team at Snowflake. On the weekends she’s excited to beat Sam on the golf course, trade wins in shooting clays, or chase him down a mountain on skis.
